The mighty den of the roaring lions hosted its annual Acquaintance Party dubbed as β€œCampus Connection”, bolstering the theme β€œBridging Aspirations for Greatness, Shining through Integrity and Kinship” yesterday afternoon, September 2024.

The event drew over 500 students, gathered under dazzling lights to kick off the anticipated moment. Attendees dressed in their most eye-catching outfits showcasing coordinated ensembles of summer-esque night fest fits. The program commenced with the all-out production number of the department’s officers and club’s ex-officio which was afterwards succeeded with opening remarks delivered by the Royal Lions Council Moderator, Mrs. Cherryfel Cerna-Asuncion, MBA and inspiring message from Dr. Alfie Maria R. Custodio, the Business College dean. 

As students forged connections with their peers, the gathering lightened up even more as interactive games and academic matches were facilitated by the Student Council. The event’s highlights included the jaw-dropping performances of Bench Yell and BCkat competitors, as well as the amazing charm of Mr. and Ms. Trendsetter hopefuls who wowed the audience. As the night drew to a close, the Business College’s band – department’s pride, performed a lively set of popular songs, prompting many students to hit the dance floor and made way for an enjoyable socialization. 

At last, winners of the different competitions were awarded, adding a competitive yet congenial edge to the evening’s festivities. Overall, Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) bagged the triumph for Bench Yell while the male candidate of Society of Hospitality Management Students (SOHMS) and female candidate of Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) were crowned as Mr. & Ms. Trendsetter of BC CampCon 2024.
